Addis Ababa – In a significant expansion of its cargo network, Ethiopian Airlines Cargo recently announced the addition of Casablanca, Morocco, to its growing list of African destinations. Since January 9, the airline began serving this new route, strengthening its presence in North Africa.
The connection with Casablanca-Mohamed V is provided by a Boeing 777-200F, an aircraft renowned for its exceptional load capacity of 100 tonnes. With this new addition, Ethiopian Airlines Cargo now operates to 35 destinations in Africa, consolidating its position as a leader in air cargo transport on the continent.
Globally, the company serves more than 130 cargo destinations, with a modern and diverse fleet of sixty-eight aircraft.
Furthermore, the African carrier recently took another step in improving its cargo infrastructure. It has a warehouse with a capacity of 1.15 million tonnes and has inaugurated a new complex dedicated to e-commerce, with a storage capacity of 150,000 tonnes.
