Ethiopian Airlines arrives in Dhaka, details its program

Ethiopian Airlines Inaugurates Non-Stop Flight to Dhaka, Bangladesh. For the first time in history, Ethiopia’s national carrier is launching a scheduled, direct service from Addis Ababa to Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal, the main airport in the Bangladeshi capital.

The Star Alliance member airline is opening its first-ever direct and scheduled service to the South Asian country. It is one of the most important and famous cities in the Asian continent. Dhaka is not only an ideal holiday destination, but also an increasingly important business hub.

Served by Boeing Dreamliner 787-9, flight ET 678 will now operate five times a week (every day except Saturday and Wednesday).

Dreamliner will depart from Addis Ababa Bole at 08:30 while the return flight will be scheduled from Dhaka at 09:40 (local time).

Mesfin Tasew, the head of Ethiopian Airlines, estimates that the route will be used by millions of passengers.
