Ethiopian Airlines announces daily service to Zurich

Ethiopian Airlines is taking a significant step to meet increased demand by adding flights on the Addis Ababa – Zurich route. From October 27, 2024, the national airline plans to increase the number of its weekly flights from five to seven, thus offering a daily service to meet the growing interest of passengers in this destination.

This increase in frequency is strategically timed to coincide with the peak tourist season, allowing Ethiopian Airlines to capitalize on the increased number of travelers looking to visit Europe during the fall. By adding additional flights, Ethiopian Airlines is not only increasing capacity, but also improving flexibility for its customers by providing them with more options for planning their trips to the prestigious Swiss city.

Please note that flights to Zurich will not be direct but will include a stopover at Milan-Malpensa. This stopover is tactically chosen to attract a greater number of European passengers, who could take advantage of this connection to explore other destinations served by the Ethiopian airline operator.
