The A350-1000, the new wide-body aircraft that recently joined the Ethiopian Airlines fleet, was deployed by the latter on its route between Addis Ababa and Entebbe in Uganda.
The Ethiopian national airline uses its A350-1000 several times a week on this route as well as on other routes.
The aircraft is configured to carry up to 410 passengers in three travel classes, with Wi-Fi connection at all seats. It can make journeys of up to 16,500 km.
The Ethiopian Airlines fleet, the largest in Africa, has two other aircraft of the same family, generally deployed on long-haul flights, including flights to destinations in Europe, North America and Asia.
The A350-100 is currently the most modern aircraft in civil aviation. The fuselage is made entirely of lighter material, while less weight means less fuel consumption.
