Faced with a drop in demand after the peak tourist season, Ethiopian Airlines has revised its flight schedule for the triangular route between Addis Ababa, Hong Kong and Manila. Initially daily, the route will be served three times a week starting December 2, 2024, a measure that will remain in place until the end of the winter season.
The modified flights will operate on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Departure from Addis Ababa Bole Airport is scheduled for 23:25, arriving in Hong Kong at 14:25 the following day. Continuation to Manila-Ninoy Aquino is scheduled for 15:55, arriving at 18:15.
The return flight will depart Manila at 19:55 and land in Addis Ababa at 05:55 the following day.
To serve these flights, the company will continue to use the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, an aircraft suitable for the long distances covered on this triangular route.
