Ethiopian Airlines, the flagship of African aviation, is taking another step in its international expansion by significantly increasing its presence in China. Starting September 27, the carrier will add three additional weekly flights to Guangzhou from its main hub in Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
This expansion brings the total number of weekly frequencies to ten between the two cities. Guangzhou, located in Guangdong province, is a strategic hub for trade and a gateway to the Asian market for many African companies.
Ethiopian Airlines already operates to four other Chinese destinations: Beijing, Hong Kong, Chengdu and Shanghai.
Regular flights to Dhaka
At Ethiopian Airlines, there are always exciting innovations to share with its customers. Recently, Africa’s leading airline revealed the opening of a new route to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. This route will be served up to six times a week throughout the year.
