Ethiopian Airlines takes delivery of its second A350-1000

Ethiopian Airlines’ forward-looking strategic investment in fuel-efficient twin-engine aircraft has kept it flying throughout the previous pandemic crisis and puts it in an ideal position to lead the sustainable recovery of global travel.

Ethiopian Airlines has announced the acquisition of a new Airbus A350-1000. Registration ET-BAX, and powered by a Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engine, it is the second of its kind to join its fleet.

The A350-1000 is equipped with the award-winning 46 Business Class seats and 349 Economy Class seats. It will be deployed on long-haul international routes such as Addis Ababa to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, and on regional routes such as the one connecting the Ethiopian capital to Abuja.

Passengers travelling on Ethiopian Airlines’ modern Airbus A350-1000 aircraft can enjoy a wide cabin with larger windows creating an extra feeling of space.
